Alta Vista Updates - August 14, 2026
Hello Alta Vista High School!
We will communicate with you every Friday about school and community resources, as well as upcoming events.
We’ve been enjoying the warm weather at lunch, as you can see by our activities this past week. Alta Vista welcomed 79 students, grades 10-12, last Monday.
Our 12th Grade English classes enrolled this week with Foothill Community College. AVHS offers the only college English credits in the district, and we are proud of our seniors for starting on their dual-enrollment college journey!
This year, six students at Alta Vista have made the jump to also join Freestyle Academy of Art & Technology. They each take English, Design, and Digital Media classes with Freestyle. Alex, Juan G., Nayeli, Tony, Devin and Brian, we are very excited to see what you create and design this year!
If you haven't turned in your signed lunch form, bus pass, AVHS Guidelines or other forms in your black assembly folders, please remember to do so Monday.
