Mrs. Alba GarzaAlba Garza has had the pleasure of serving AVHS as the Community Resources Coordinator since 2008. She has worked with children, youth and families for over 13 years under different capacities as a case manager, mental health specialist and licensed therapist.
Mrs.Garza earned her B.A degree in Social Work, as well as a M.A in Social Work, from San Jose State University. She became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2007 and is very passionate about the Mental Health Field.
Mrs.Garza is responsible for coordinating student services, case management and mental health services for AVHS students. In addition, she supports students and families with linkages to resources in our community. She is also the Mckinney Vento District Liaison for the MVLA High School District.
