Our Last Alta Vista Updates of Spring Semester - June 3, 2026

Alta Vista, it is our LAST week of the Spring Semester! Please see our special bell schedules for June 4-5 below.

Important June Dates:

Thursday, June 4: Graduation Rehearsal and Ceremony (more information 

below, and given to graduates day of completing their diplomas)

Friday, June 5: Last Day of Classes for all 10th and 11th Graders, as well as 12th 

graders not yet graduated

Wednesday, June 10: MVLA Summer School Session #1 begins, 

8:30am-3:00pm, at Los Altos High School. Class assignments will be 

mailed home again at the start of June, and are also viewable in AERIES “Classes” tab (summer school info)

AVHS congratulates this week’s high school graduates!

Congratulations to 3rd period PE, whose students finished out a fun Spring 2026 Boxing unit. Thank you to Mr. Luy and Elevate volunteers for making this possible!

AVHS students released 1,400 ladybugs into the Serenity Garden last week! They enjoyed delicious treats and painted birdhouses/hummingbird feeders as part of the event. It was a fun moment for our students to reflect on their year as they prepare themselves to be released for summer and for others into colleges/universities!
